Alberto Orte "Elo" Yecla Monastrell 2015
Description
Varietal: Made with 100% Monastrell grapes from the Yecla region of Spain. The vineyards are situated at an altitude of 750 meters above sea level and the soil is composed of limestone and clay. The wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels before being bottled unfiltered.
Taste: In the glass, this wine has a deep, ruby-red color with purple hues. On the nose, it offers intense aromas of ripe black fruits, vanilla, and spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied and rich with flavors of blackberry, plum, and dark chocolate, with hints of tobacco and espresso. The tannins are firm and well-structured, providing a long, lingering finish with a touch of oak. Overall, this wine is bold and complex, with excellent aging potential for a Monastrell.
