Description

Varietal: 100% Grüner Veltliner. Sourced from 3 vineyards: Stein, Spiegel, & Rosenberg. Basket pressed, fermented and aged in large Stockinger oak of various sizes. 90% is “new” oak, but from wood that cured for 13 years.

Taste: Ripe notes of yellow plum have a spicy edge of fennel seed and a leafy freshness that is subtle on the nose but signals what is to come. It is on the palate that this fine but ripe freshness reveals salty, savory spice. The more you savor, the more apparent it becomes. This is a wine that combines drinkability with typicity and depth.
