Description
Varietal:75% Malbec, 19% Bonarda, 6% Petit Verdot. Aged for 12-14 months in barrel. Barrel selection varies depending on vineyard and vintage -First, second and third use barrels used. 10-months of bottle aging.
Taste: Black fruit and flowers from Uco Valley Malbec laced with spicy Petit Verdot. Malbec lends freshness and smoothness, while Petit Verdot grants volume and persistence, conferring a lush, rich attack and wonderful length to the blend. Meanwhile the Bonarda add some deep purple color in the glass along with some subtle hints of cassis, cherry, and dried fig.
