Description
Varietal: 100% Sagrantino. Aged for 22 months in French oak barriques with a minimum of 6 months bottle age.
Taste: With a dark, full-bodied color and ripe aromas of blackberry jam, pepper, clove, vanilla and balsamic notes on the nose. On the palate it is powerful yet elegant with dustings of baking spice and bitter chocolate. Bold tannins hint at the ability for long aging.
