Description

Varietal: 50% Pinot Meunier, 40% Pinot Noir, and 10% Chardonnay. From 25 year old vines grown in chalk, limestone, clay loam, and sand in Vrigny, Montagne de Reims region of Champagne.  Indigenous yeast ferment, aged for six months in tank before 3 years lees aging in bottle. Disgorged 9/21 with a dosage of 2 g/L. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Taste: Toasted hazelnut, crisp apple, warm biscuits and a lovely minerality on the nose makes quite the impression. This ripe and creamy Champagne offers a good depth of flavor and is refreshing & structured in taste. It has plenty of fresh apple flavors, although the dominant fruits are riper, richer and tangy with orange zest and apricots. To balance all this fruit, the texture is tight with a good streak of minerality to give a crisp aftertaste
