Description
Varietal: 100% Chardonnay. The grapes are grown in organic vineyards in Avize, which is a Grand Cru village in the Côte des Blancs area of Champagne. The wine is made by extra-brut dosage and traditional method, with fermentation and aging in stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged on its lees for more than 9 years, with minimal intervention and filtration.
Taste: This 2011 Grand Cru has a pale yellow color with golden reflections and a fine and persistent mousse. The nose is elegant and floral, with aromas of acacia, golden apple, almond and dried fig. The palate is crisp and dry, with flavors of lemon, pear, brioche and honey. The finish is long and refreshing, with a touch of salinity.
