Description

Varietal: 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot, 1% Cabernet Franc. The grapes are sourced from new vineyard sites surrounding Darms Lane’s estate properties in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley. The wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, 25% new. It is made by Darms Lane, a family-owned winery that started as a Chardonnay estate and later switched to Bordeaux varietals.

Taste: Fresh nose of cherry, blackberry, subtle raspberry and notes of oak and vanilla. Flavors of ripe cherry, red berry and fresh plum mingled with mocha. The palate is medium bodied with a ripe red fruit with nice balanced acidity and supple tannins.
