Description
Varietal: 100% Pinot Gris. The grapes are grown in organic vineyards in the northern Willamette Valley, at an altitude of 500 meters above sea level. The vineyards span two sub-AVAs (American Viticultural Areas) of the Willamette Valley and three major soil types: Jory, Laurelwood and Willakenzie. The wine is whole-cluster pressed and cold fermented in small stainless steel tanks.
Taste: Bright golden color in the glass with an expressive nose of nectarine, white flower and candied orange peel. The flavor is expansive and crisp, with fresh flavors of fig, white cherry, cantaloupe, orange peel pithiness, ginger and lemon thyme. The acidity is zippy and balanced, giving the wine a lively and satisfying finish.
