Description
Varietal: Made from 100% Chardonnay grapes sourced from Napa Valley vineyards. The grapes are hand-harvested and carefully sorted before undergoing a gentle pressing. The juice is fermented in French oak barrels, with 25% new oak, and aged for 12 months on the lees. The wine is then bottled unfined and unfiltered.
Taste: This Chardonnay is a pale gold color in the glass, with aromas of lemon zest, green apple, and subtle oak spice. On the palate, flavors of ripe pear, honeydew melon, and toasted hazelnut are balanced by bright acidity and a creamy, textured mouthfeel. The finish is long and satisfying, with notes of vanilla and a hint of minerality. The wine has a medium body and a smooth, elegant tannin profile.
