Description
Varietal: 100% Chardonnay produced from a plot of wines behind the Domaine called “Les Pelles” which has clay limestone soils. Aged in French oak barrels for 11-12 months (20-30% new wood).
Taste: Very heady bouquet, with aromas of almond, honey, flint, and fresh out-of-the-oven bread. Beautiful aromatic complexity. On the palate, the wine has an abundant richness, and has notes of ripe and dried fruit (such as apricots). Great length.
