Description
Varietal: Made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, grown in the premier cru vineyard of Clos Rousseau in the Santenay appellation of Burgundy. The grapes are carefully handpicked and sorted before being fermented in stainless steel tanks using indigenous yeast. The wine is then aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, 25% of which are new.
Taste: In the glass, this wine is a vibrant ruby red with aromas of ripe cherries, blackberries, and hints of spice. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with firm tannins and a velvety texture. Flavors of dark fruit, earthy undertones, and subtle oak notes lead to a long, smooth finish. This wine can be enjoyed now or cellared for up to a decade to further develop complexity and depth.
