Description
Varietal: 76% Zinfandel, 14% Charbono, 8% Petite Sirah, 2% Syrah. Aged for 14 months in 50% new American Oak and the balance in once-used tight grained French Oak.
Taste: Aromatics of violets, dried cinnamon, white flowers, fresh cut blue herbs, and a touch of barrel toast. The palate has loads of black fruits and sweet currants, pepper spice, and an enveloping masculinity of char and tannins from the Syrah, Charbono and Petite Sirah inclusion. Full-bodied, concentrated, and gorgeous... with jammy, ripe black fruits, sweet currants, pepper spice, and mouthcoating deliciousness.
