Description
Varietal: Made from 100% Grüner Veltliner grapes- handpicked from the terraced vineyards of Wachau. After gentle pressing, the juice is fermented with natural yeasts in stainless steel tanks at cool temperatures to preserve the fruitiness and minerality. The wine is aged on its lees for several months, adding texture and complexity.
Taste: In the glass, this 2021 Grüner Veltliner is a pale yellow color with green highlights. On the nose, it is intensely aromatic, with notes of white peach, lemon, and herbs, followed by a touch of flinty minerality. The palate is lively and fresh, with a bright acidity that balances the ripe fruit flavors of green apple, grapefruit, and a hint of white pepper. The wine has a medium body, a smooth and creamy texture, and a long, mineral finish.
