Description
Varietal: Made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes grown in the 'Les Beaumonts' vineyard in the village of Chorey-lès-Beaune. The grapes are handpicked and sorted before being fermented in oak barrels with natural yeasts. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels for 12 months to add complexity and structure.
Taste: In the glass, Domaine Michel Mallard & Fils Chorey-lès-Beaune 'Les Beaumonts' 2017 is a deep ruby color with a garnet hue. On the nose, the wine displays intense aromas of ripe black cherry, blackberry, and a hint of spice. On the palate, the wine is rich and full-bodied, with flavors of black cherry, blackcurrant, and a touch of earthiness. The tannins are firm and well-structured, providing a long, smooth finish.
