Description
Varietal: 100 % Pinot Noir from 50+ year old vines from Les Narbantons. This vineyard is unusual in that it has a northeasterly aspect and receives less exposure to sunlight than other vineyards along the Cote d'Or. Fruit is hand harvested and sorted at the winery. 100% destalked. Aged in 30-40% new oak barrels.
Taste: Elegant and powerful bouquet of red fruits with restrained oak undertones. Medium to full-bodied with nice weight to balance the acidity and round tannins.
