Description
Varietal: 100% Pinot Noir from Goodrich Vineyard. Fermented in small, temperature controlled steel tanks with a portion of whole-cluster fruit, hand punched down twice daily, and barreled in French oak barrels. Bottled after 10 months of aging in 25% new French oak.
Taste: Vivid ruby in the glass with rich cherry pie aromas that are complemented by sarsaparilla and tilled soil on the nose. A vibrant and mouth-filling palate of cherry and rhubarb ends with a mineral flourish, dusty cocoa and five spice. Nicely balance.
