Franck Besson is a unique producer in Beaujolais: a specialist in traditional-method sparkling wine production. There is no legal designation for this wine other than the Gamay grapes are sourced from the dense granite slopes near the town of Jullié.

Description
Varietal: 100% Gamay from vines that are over 40 years old on pink granite soils at 350 meters elevation. The wine is in contact with the skins for 6-12 hours, with the primary fermentation in stainless steel. It is then aged for 12 months in wooden pupitres, before hand-riddling and disgorgement
Taste: This sparkling rosé displays charming rose petal hues as well as aromas of fresh strawberry and raspberry. With a refreshing touch of acidity, thanks to its slow effervescing process, this wine will reveal a rounded and slightly sweet first taste which is perfectly balance by a dry finish. Refined bubbles add to the refreshing character of the wine with a delightful persistence, including bright and appealing fruit.
