Description
Varietal: Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown in the Columbia Valley AVA. The grapes are carefully hand-picked and sorted before being fermented in small batches using native yeasts. The wine is then aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, creating a rich and complex flavor profile. Quilceda Creek winemaking team now at Matthews.
Taste: In the glass it is a deep, garnet-colored wine with aromas of black currant, blackberry, and mocha. On the palate, it has flavors of dark fruit, chocolate, and a hint of vanilla. The tannins are firm but well-integrated, giving the wine a long, smooth finish.
