St. Innocent Winery 'Shea Vineyard' Yamhill-Carlton Pinot Noir 2019
Description
Varietal: made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes grown in the Shea Vineyard, located in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA of the Willamette Valley. The grapes are carefully harvested by hand and undergo a traditional fermentation process using native yeasts. The wine is aged in French oak barrels for 16 months before bottling.
Taste: In the glass, the 'Shea Vineyard' Pinot Noir 2018 is a deep ruby red. The nose is full of dark fruit aromas, including blackberry, black cherry, and plum, along with hints of earth and spice. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and complex, with flavors of blackberry, raspberry, and cherry, along with notes of tobacco and leather. The tannins are silky smooth, and the finish is long and elegant, with a touch of minerality.
