Description

Although this serves as the "entry level" to the Bouzereau wines, it features highlight from two of the most sought after AOCs in Burgundy.

Varietal: 100% Chardonnay

Farmed from 2.9 hectares in the lieux-dits Magny, Mersault's famed 'Sous la Velle' vineyard and Puglingy-Montrachet's 'Champs Perriers' site. Both vineyard sites are farmed sustainably and organically. The wine goes through elevage in oak barrels for one year, mostly neutral with 10-15% new, before spending a final 2 months in tank prior to bottling.

Tasting Notes: The wine has a pure and generous bouquet with lovely yellow plum and lemon zest aromas. The palate is well balanced with a lightly spiced entry, lilting yellow fruit and a dab of ginger-infused bitterness on the finish.
