From an organically farmed parcel of just over 2 hectares in Chenôve, just north of the border with Marsannay. Originally called “Le Clos des Ducs”, as it was a possession of the Dukes of Burgundy. The vineyard was renamed Clos du Roy in 1477.
En Papolet Chenas is one of four wines from the Dutraive family negociant project created in response to crop losses from storms that ravaged the vineyards of Fleurie. It beautifully represents Dutraive's fresh-fruited, soulful style, an ethereal texture.
