Description
Varietal: This wine is 100% Pinot Noir, sourced from the Archery Summit Estate Vineyard, as well as a few other nearby vineyards in the Dundee Hills AVA of Oregon. The grapes were harvested by hand and fermented in small, open-top fermenters with native yeasts. The wine was then aged in French oak barrels, 32% new, for 10 months.
Taste: In the glass, this Pinot Noir is a deep ruby hue. On the nose, it boasts aromas of black cherry, black raspberry, and subtle notes of clove and cinnamon. On the palate, it's juicy and elegant, with flavors of dark cherry, plum, and a hint of earthy mushroom. The tannins are silky, and the finish is long and satisfying, with a touch of minerality. This is a beautiful wine that is sure to impress Pinot Noir lovers.
