Description
Varietal: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged for 18-24 months in New French oak barrels.
Taste: The nose exhibits blackcurrant aromas with notes of damp earth, wild myrtle and a hint of volcanic minerality. On the palate, these aromatics expand into layers of juicy black and purple berries, swirling black raspberries with boysenberries and black cherries, and warm notes of cedar and tobacco. Smooth, tannins support the abundant fruit with graphite minerality, and guide the wine into an extraordinarily long finish of sweet clove, blackberries and fresh brown sugar.
