Château d’Issan is a 3rd growth Bordeaux estate located in the prestigious Margaux appellation, with a long history dating back to the 12th century. The 2019 vintage is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (67%) and Merlot (33%), carefully selected from the estate's vineyards. The wine is aged in oak barrels for 18 months, with 50% of them being new.
The wine has been highly praised by critics, receiving scores of 94-96 points from top wine publications. The wine's structure, depth, and complexity are the result of the unique Margaux terroir, which is known for its gravelly soil and ideal microclimate.
