Description
Varietal: 100% Barbera grapes from the top vineyard named "Cru Montebruna" in Roccetta Tanaro. The must spends two weeks in temperature-controlled steel tanks, where it ferments, and is then transferred to large oak barrels to age for a year.
Taste: Purplish ruby red in color. Ripe cherry and red berries on the nose with flavors that are deep, full and harmonious with a persistent finish that lingers on the palate. Oak, vanilla, tobacco, plum, blackberry, and violet florals all combine for a robust experience.
Best if served at 59 to 63 degrees F.
