Description
Varietal: 65% Pinot Noir, and 35% Chardonnay from vines 40 years of age on average that grow on multiple parcels facing northwest and southeast. Kimmeridgian clay-limestone soils embedded with oysters.
Tasting Notes: The fruit leans towards delicate red berries, with an anchor of limestone in the mid-palate that immediately reminds one just how close Dominique is to Chablis. The bubbles are quite fine and there is no shortage of acid or freshness. An excellent value and a great substitute for Champagne if the need arises.
