Cune Rioja Crianza has been produced every year since C.V.N.E (Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España) was founded in 1879. The 2018 vintage has its characteristic aromatic balance, fine character and overall expression of the Tempranillo grape.

Description

Varietal: 85% Tempranillo, 15% Garnacha Tinta y Mazuelo. The grapes are fermented in stainless steel tank at a controlled temperature. After 12 days in a vat, the grapes are pressed, and malolactic fermentation takes place in a tank. The wine is aged in American oak barrels for 1 year.

Taste: Dark violet-red in the glass with lovely depth of ripe fruit, cassis, and clove. The palate offers a nice combination of fruit and spice with flavors of blackberry, black currant, dark chocolate and licorice. Gentle  tannins frame a long, lively finish that leaves notes of cherry, tobacco, and spice.
