Emilio Moro "Malleolus" Ribera del Duero 2019
Description
Varietal: This wine is made with 100% Tempranillo grapes from the oldest vines of the winery's vineyards in Ribera del Duero, Spain. The grapes are handpicked and sorted manually to ensure only the best fruit is used. After fermentation, the wine is aged in new French oak barrels for 18 months, followed by another 12 months of bottle aging.
Taste: Deep, intense ruby color with a garnet edge. On the nose, it offers aromas of ripe black fruit, vanilla, and spicy notes, with a hint of toasted oak. On the palate, it is full-bodied with rich and concentrated flavors of blackberry, plum, and black cherry, accompanied by a touch of licorice and a mineral note. The tannins are firm and well-structured, and the finish is long and persistent, with a pleasant, slightly smoky aftertaste. This wine is a perfect example of the power and elegance of Ribera del Duero wines.
