Description
Varietal: 100% Blaufränkisch, hand-picked from estate vineyards in Eisenberg, Austria. The grapes are fermented with wild yeasts in oak barrels and aged for 18 months.
Taste: In the glass, the Jalits Eisenberg Blaufränkisch 2019 is a deep ruby red with purple highlights. On the nose, there are aromas of dark cherries, blackberries, and plums, followed by hints of black pepper and licorice. The palate is rich and full-bodied with a firm tannin structure and flavors of black fruits, spices, and a touch of tobacco. The finish is long and elegant with a refreshing acidity.
