“Plani Arche,” is the Latin name of a local shrine (“Pian d’Arca”) which is considered the spot where St Francis of Assisi gave his famous “Sermon to the Birds.” That outreach beyond humans aligns perfectly with Roberto Di Filippo and his wife Elena Pompeii's holistic approach to farming, winemaking, and to life. 

Varietal: 100% Grechetto. Aged in In stainless steel tanks with the skins for 4-6 months. Certified organic, and the vineyards are only ploughed by workhorses - hence the label art!

Tasting Notes: In appearance, this wine displays a straw-yellow or pale golden color in the glass, often with a bright and clear appearance. On the nose, expect an aromatic bouquet that's both fruity and floral. Fragrances of ripe stone fruits like peaches, along with hints of citrus zest and delicate floral notes, create an inviting and aromatic profile with subtle herbal undertones. Upon first taste, the Grechetto reveals a crisp and flavorful palate; Often presenting flavors of fresh orchard fruits. The wine has a pleasant minerality, offering a clean and refreshing experience.
