Hand picked in a first selection across all of the estate's Grüner Veltliner vineyards -- a true village wine! No maceration, cooled fermentation in a stainless steel tank, and 4 months maturation on the lees before bottling.

Tasting Notes: The nose is fresh and fruity. Lively acidity packed with green and yellow fruit and hints of spice on the pallet. The diverse soils of the different vineyards, such as löss, gneiss, sandstone and granite, merge into a wonderful reflection of the Strass terroir.

About Birgit Eichinger: Birgit Eichinger, as a winemaker, exercises great care, consistency and flair, while being deeply rooted in her homeland – the Kamp Valley. Her wines are the embodiment of elegance and strong character. She finds her inspiration and support from her husband, Christian and daughter, Gloria. Gloria also actively participates in the winery’s operations, working alongside her mother in what has been described as a “women’s power house.”
