Description
Varietal: 100% Pinot Noir from five 5 climates: the Plateaux, Belles Croix, Fleurières, Brûlées, and the Chaliots. The “décuvage”, followed by a light pressing will lead to an aging in oak barrels for 10-18 months, with 10% to 30% new barrels
Taste: A brilliant crimson color in the glass. Ripe yet fresh and pure, this Nuits' nose boasts cherry, raspberry, and floral & spice notes. Refined tannins and vibrant acidity lend support on the palate of smoky, velvet-textured fruit with some vanilla too. The wine is nicely balanced- not heavy, but a very elegant expression of Pinot Noir with a finish that persists.
