Description
Varietal: 100% Touriga Nacional
From an estate vineyard planted in 2007. Mostly whole bunch fermentation that occurs with natural yeast and no more than 5 days of skin contact. Aged in used oak barrels for 11 months prior to bottling.
Tasting Notes: Deep, dark in colour with a purple rim. Rich floral aromas of violets, wild thyme and sweet oriental spice. Complex flavours of blueberry, plum and black forest fruits with a soft but succulent acidity. It is an elegant wine with a velvety density and a defined underlying structure. A wine that reveals the identity of Touriga Nacional with uncompromised character.
