Description
Varietal: Composed primarily Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc, with a small addition of Syrah. The grapes are carefully selected, sorted, and then fermented in small lots. The wine is aged in French oak barrels for 20 months.
Taste: The HGIII is a deep ruby color in the glass. The nose reveals aromas of blackberry, cassis, and vanilla. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with flavors of dark fruit, chocolate, and espresso. The tannins are firm but well-integrated, and the finish is long and smooth. This wine will continue to develop in the bottle over the next decade thanks to Bordeaux-styled blend.
