The Grenache was increased to 90% for this high-altitude cuvée from Domaine Les Pallières. The 2020 expresses great structure & minerality with a black/red fruits bouquet and savory notes on the palate. A short decant will yield additional complexity.

Description
Varietal: 90% Grenache, 5% Mourvèdre, 5% Clairette. The vines (avg 15 years old) are planted on terraces that nestle against the imposing limestone cliffs of Les Dentelles de Montmirail. Wine ages in cuves for 10 months, then in foudres for 12 months.
Taste: Very dense and complex with aromas ranging from black plum to wild herbs, as well as hints of candied orange, smoke and chalky minerality. Medium to full body with hints of white flowers, violets, and pepper on the palate. Building yet polished, fine tannins on the finish.
