Description
Varietal: Made from 100% Riesling grapes grown in the Graacher Himmelreich vineyard, located in the heart of the Mosel Valley. The grapes are hand-harvested and carefully selected for optimal ripeness, then fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve the bright, fresh fruit flavors and aromas that are the hallmark of Mosel Riesling. The wine is then aged for several months on its lees to add richness and depth to the palate.
Taste: In the glass, the Joh. Jos. Prüm Graacher Himmelreich Riesling Kabinett 2021 is a beautiful pale straw color with green highlights. The nose is an enticing mix of ripe peach, green apple, and citrus zest, with underlying notes of white flowers and wet stone minerality. On the palate, the wine is bright and lively, with vibrant acidity and flavors of tart green apple, juicy lime, and ripe apricot. The wine finishes long and clean, with a hint of residual sweetness that is balanced by the wine's acidity.
