Description
Varietal: 100% Pinot Noir
Taste: Expect a generous bouquet of ripe dark fruit layered upon earthy undertones and just a hint of citrus. On the palate the wine is well structured, scored with that same fruity lushness, yet balanced by firm but soft tannins with notes of chocolate, cinnamon toast, allspice and floral fragrances.
Kanzler Vineyards uses 100% French Oak. The 2020 Pinot Noir was barrel aged for 14 months on lees, with 29% new oak and 8% whole cluster inclusion, then blended to stainless steel tanks for an additional month of integration before bottling. The finished wine was bottled un-fined and unfiltered.
