Domaine Michel Bouzereau et Fils Meursault Bourgogne Côte d’Or ‘Clos du Moulin’ 2023

Varietal: 100% Chardonnay

Sourced from a 1 hectare walled vineyard in Mersault -- just meters from the official appellation line. The site is located along the river with alluvial soils, close to Les Petits Charrons and Les Chevalières. Aged for one year in barrel (20% new) then for 2-4 months in tank prior to bottling.

Tasting Notes: Aromatically similar to the regular cuvée, with added floral influence. Notes of honeysuckle, lemon, and nuttiness on the nose and front palate, with a rich taste of lemon pastry and roasted nuts on the mid and back palate. This will only improve with 2-3 years of cellar time.
