Terroir

Spring Mountain District sits on the western slopes of the Mayacamas Range above St. Helena, where Napa Valley's warm days are tempered by cooler nights and frequent morning fog that drifts in from San Pablo Bay. Soils here are volcanic and heavily fractured — primarily shallow Aiken series and rocky loam — which stress the vines naturally and concentrate both flavors and structure in ways the valley floor rarely replicates.
