Description
One Night Across the Cape
Our third annual Safari Thru the Vines returns for one lively night of South African wine, conversation, and discovery.
Move at your own pace through five stations as we pour ten wines from across Stellenbosch, Swartland, Franschhoek, and the broader Western Cape. The lineup travels from traditional-method Cap Classique and expressive Cape whites through Pinot Noir, Grenache, and structured Stellenbosch reds—showing just how much range South Africa has to offer.
Three South African winemakers will be joining us in person:
Hugo Carinus — Carinus Family Vineyards
Wynand Grobler — De Kleine Wijn Koöp
Bertho van der Westhuizen — Alto Estate
Taste directly with the people behind the bottles, ask questions as you move through the stations, and find the wines that belong on your table. Whether South African wine is already on your radar or completely new territory, the evening is designed to be approachable, social, and full of discoveries.
