This Vouvray Pétillant by Domaine Huet is made at the discretion of the winemaker in particular good years- like 2017 proved to be. At 10 g / L dosage there is a noticeable sweetness, but it finishes dry and zippy thanks to the pronounced acid.

Description
Varietal: 100% Chenin Blanc from Huet’s 3 biodynamic vineyards on Vouvray’s Premiere Côte. Bottled before primary fermentation is completed, and yeast added to complete the ferment.
Taste: The bubbles are fine and elegant. On the nose, notes of candied citrus peel, honey crisp apples, nectarines, and exotic spices. The palate is elegant with slightly brioche, honeysuckle, and yellow fruits that gently bring us to a long dry finish.
