Workshop Overview

Burgundy is the ultimate expression of terroir.

In this workshop, we’ll explore how soil, slope, exposure, and microclimate shape flavor more than brand or winemaking style. You’ll learn how Burgundy is organized, how to navigate villages and crus, and why tiny differences in geography create dramatically different wines.

Through guided tasting, you’ll begin learning to recognize and taste place itself.

  • Drop-In Guests receive a $5 credit

Frequently Asked Questions

What if I can’t attend after purchasing?
If you are unable to attend, you may exchange your seat for store credit with advance notice. Some Atelier Memberships include flexibility to transfer a seat to another guest with advance notice. No-shows will forfeit the option to transfer or exchange for store credit.

Are workshops refundable?
Tickets become non-refundable 2 weeks prior to the workshop.

When should I arrive?
Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to check in and be seated.

Is this class beginner-friendly?
Yes. No prior wine knowledge required!
